OCL served as the facilities General Contractor on associated scopes at both Suncor and Syncrude, enabling bi-directional transfer of Hot Bitumen and Gas Oil products between the two sites. Work included placing 9 process modules ranging from 50,000 to 350,000 pounds and 3 e-houses using a 450 tonne crawler crane, plus expansion tanks, mechanical, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, heat-tracing, insulation and cladding.
